This beautiful print by illustrator and printmaker, Sally Elford, features a sky full of fireworks. Sally has used pearlescent silver ink on a dark blue sky to give a slight shine for the fireworks and a beautiful glossy enamel black ink for the foreground trees to really make them stand out beautifully.

Sally is an established Brighton based illustrator and print maker with a passion for mid-century design and pattern. Like many artists, she is also inspired by the natural world; it is generally the British landscape and wildlife that provide this artist with an infinite source of inspiration. Though she has been known to venture onto more exotic subjects, Sally is influenced by the subtle colours and shifting character of each British season.
