Inspired by Douglas Adams' book, 'The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy' where the number 42 is discovered to be the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. 

Sam Chivers is a Brighton based artist and illustrator.

Originally cutting his teeth making nonsensical comics and homemade magazines back in the late nineties he then went onto work with a wide variety of clients as part of Illustration collective Magictorch.

Alongside his professional practice Sam continues to plot a strange visual journey through the mediums of print and collage, often following themes of a universal and cosmic nature.
