Susie Brooks is a printmaker and Illustrator living in Wiltshire. Since 1991 she has been drawing landmarks and favourite places in her signature pen and ink style, using silkscreened flat colour which she mixes and prints by hand. She sometimes cannot resist including some gentle humour. Her work has been collected and published worldwide so don’t miss this opportunity to own an original.
‘Early Gothic’ is inspired by Wells Cathedral (which does indeed open at 7am), and was made exclusively by Susie at Spike Print Studio for Soma’s 20th anniversary.
Colours: pink, grey, black
About the 20 Years Collection
Soma Gallery turned 20 in June 2024 so to mark this momentous occasion we asked 20 artists to produce a limited edition print to commemorate the 20 years. A portfolio of each print from the editions go to the 20 artists, and the final 30 prints are available for sale. You can read more about the project on our blog.
