The UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familiar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Males and females look identical, and young birds have no red breast and are spotted with golden brown.

Chris Andrews is an Illustrator and Printmaker based in Bedfordshire, UK. His work combines striking compositions with strong use of colour and texture, resulting in stunning digital images that have a vintage, nostalgic appeal.

Chris is also known for his vintage-inspired British bird and animal screen prints which recall the graphics and fonts found in 1940’s educational books.
