Through the process of screen print Emma creates mostly one-off works of art. She uses the screen as a drawing tool to explore the relationship between colour, shape and pattern. Emma loves to play with the transparency of colour, exploring how different tones interact and overlay in predictable and unpredictable ways. She experiments with the tessellation of form and by layering geometric shapes seeks to evoke a sense of illusion. This exclusive edition of 50 prints called ‘Kolmio’ (Triangle in Finnish) is something a little different, produced especially for Soma’s 20 year Anniversary.

About the 20 Years Collection
Soma Gallery turned 20 in June 2024 so to mark this momentous occasion we asked 20 artists to produce a limited edition print to commemorate the 20 years.
