A gorgeous winter wreath, to hang inside your home or to send to a friend. (Indoor use only!) Louise made this original design from her signature painted paper cut outs. This is a letterpressed version of the Winter Wreath. It was printed in three pure colours on a big clunky vintage press in Glasgow, each colour done one at a time by hand. It is printed onto thick beer mat type board and printed on one side only. Die cut into a traditional wreath shape. You can see how the print embosses into the board and you can smell the ink. It is a tactile object and one to get out and treasure every winter.

The Printed Peanut is an ever-expanding collection of illustrated items for you and your home, designed by Louise Lockhart. All products are manufactured in the UK and aim to use eco-friendly materials wherever possible. Based in Yorkshire, Louise works from home, where she designs all of these products, packs them up and ships them out to you (all with a smile and help from the local post office!)

The story so far:

In 2012, illustrator Louise Lockhart was working in a beautiful stationery shop in Vancouver which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Realising there was a gap on the market for quality party games, she began making her version of Pass the Parcel (fuelled on peanut butter) and so The Printed Peanut was born. The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation, but is now based in sunny Yorkshire, UK.

Louise lives and works in an old cotton mill where she spends her days creating designs from little paper cut outs and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products including toys, games, clothes and pieces for your home. Louise is also a freelance illustrator, working on children's books and collaborating with clients such as Boden, Anthropologie, Liberty and Heal's.
