Kingfishers are small, unmistakable bright blue and orange birds found near slow moving or still water. They fly rapidly, low over water, and hunt fish from riverside perches, occasionally hovering above the water's surface.

Chris Andrews is an Illustrator and Printmaker based in Bedfordshire, UK. His work combines striking compositions with strong use of colour and texture, resulting in stunning digital images that have a vintage, nostalgic appeal.

Chris is also known for his vintage-inspired British bird and animal screen prints which recall the graphics and fonts found in 1940’s educational books.
