This piece of work was created for the exhibition 'Fingers Crossed for a Sunny Day' 4th - 30th September 2006.

Lucy Gough is an artist based in London. She has a degree in Creative and Cultural Studies from Norwich School of Art and Design.

"I began by making work based on my personal experiences, which had a confessional edge. More recently I have been working from a wide variety of influences, including art, music, film, reading and everyday life. I can be equally inspired by visiting a gallery or simply overhearing a conversation in the street. I like to work in a variety of media including photography, painting, screen printing and textiles. I use mixed media as it in an effective way to add depth and interest to the work. "
