Paul
Willoughby graduated from Loughborough University in 2001 with a degree
in Illustration. Since graduation he has worked as an illustrator with some
of his clients including Adrenalin magazine, Bogey, Jack, The Guardian,
The FT Magazine, The Independent, Time Out and Fader.
He
recently illustrated the album cover and sleeve art of Proud Mary and
earlier this year he undertook a reportage trip to the French Alps for
Adrenalin magazine to illustrate a snowboard event. He has also worked
as a guest illustrator for Italian fashion designer Sergio Zambon on a
range of clothes for the Japanese market.
Paul
has been been profiled in both Grafik and Digit magazine.
The
inspiration for his work includes old printed ephemera, 70's graphics,
craft books, photography yearbooks, kids drawings and Japanese woodblock
prints.
